Donald Duck

Poor old Donald Duck; luck isn't always on his side. In fact, bad luck seems to follow him wherever he goes. Instead of letting it get him down though, Donald is more likely to get just a little bit frustrated. Indeed, his famous temper is one of his best-known character traits and part of the reason that he is so adored around the world.

Donald Duck's voice is also iconic. Indeed, his semi-intelligible rants are instantly recognisable. When he's not angry, Donald usually appears to be at one with the world. He generally has a positive outlook on life, but unfortunately for him, this is often ruined by a bout of rotten luck. Heaven forbid that anyone should spoil Donald Duck's hammock time; by his own admission, this is his favourite place.

Should he be disturbed, the first thing Donald Duck is likely to say is "What's the big deal?" Disney's favourite duck is something of a bragger though, so if he's done something well the chances are that other characters will soon hear about it; even if this lands him in a spot of bother.

Donald Duck's appearance is just as iconic as his sounds. With white fur and a yellow-orange bill, legs and feet, Donald Duck is usually seen donning a sailor shirt, red bow tie and cap.
